Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting and respecting the privacy rights of customers, suppliers and everyone we do business with. Please read our privacy policy to learn more about how we collect, use, and share your personal data. By visiting our website, you are accepting and consenting to the below.
Collection and use of personal data of clients, suppliers and other business partners
When you interact with us – through our website or by communicating with us directly – we may request and collect the personal data. This is necessary to enable us to do business with you and to provide our services. This applies to (prospective) clients as well as businesses with whom we partner/work.
If you are a (prospective) client, we may use your data to:
- send you quotes for requested jobs
- identify the specifications or requirements a task of service needs to meet
- deliver services
- generate invoices
- communicate swiftly and efficiently about the delivery of the business agreement
If you are a (prospective) supplier or business partner, we may also need your personal data to enable us to create and carry out business agreements. When buying, we will need to be able to:
- let you know what specifications and requirements a product or service needs to adhere to
- equest quotes
- pay invoices
- communicate swiftly and efficiently about the delivery of the business agreement
You are not obliged to share any personal data. Yet, if you choose not to share any, or insufficient, personal data, it may be impossible for us to fulfil any services or business activities.
Sharing data with third parties
We will not disclose your personal data to third parties, except when this is necessary to enable a third party to provide a service to us, such as the delivery of materials, parts or products, or the execution of tasks. We may also need to share your personal data with a third party such as a transport company or a parcel delivery service to enable the transport of a product.
Furthermore, we store (parts) of our business administration – which includes your personal data – on an internal server and an external Cloud. We also use Microsoft Office, including it’s email functionality. Finally, as we use an external service for bookkeeping, we must share some of your personal data with that bookkeeping and administration service.
Retention of personal data
If you are a client, supplier or business partner, we will retain your personal data for seven years after the end of the financial year in which our business agreement with you concluded. This is in line with the legal requirement we have to keep any business administration for seven years for the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us for access to your personal data. Where required, you may also request us to add additional personal data or to amend inaccuracies. Finally, you may request us to remove your personal data and have the right to limit us in using it.
You can object to the collection and use of your personal data by contacting us directly, or by reaching out to the Dutch Data Protection Authority. To exercise your rights, you can contact Mr D. van der Lee via e-mail at dvdlee@supplyingparts.nl. You can also reach out with questions or to request further information about the collection and use of your personal data.
